Rodney & Regina Twiss toured extensively during
the past 3 months, including 3 trips to Kangaroo Island staying at
a Lighthouse Keepers Cottage at Cape Willoughby, and remote Hanson
Bay Sanctuary, along with conventional accommodation at Acacia Apartments,
Kingscote.
Rodney also went on a succesfull fishing trip with his son William
with Mark West Fishing Charters, Kingscote, Kangaroo Island.

Regina
Twiss leaves for OzTalk USA held both in Los Angeles & Washington
D.C. this year.
As well as catching up with many of our travel friends in the U.S.
she is staying with her sisters family in Virginia, from there she
will travel with her sister to Pennsylvania, New York & Rhode
Island.
She then flies to UK, Switzerland, Netherlands, & Germany to have
a series of meetings with the the Travel & Tourism Trade.
She is flying Singapore Air with around 14 separate flights
around the world. This is the 2nd time to the US and the 3rd time
to Europe this year for Regina. |
The
winter months have been a hive of activity in Adelaide for Rodney
& Regina, their friends & guests.
Minister For Tourism Dr Jane Lomax-Smith

Travelling
with Colin & Suzie Caudell (Thrifty Car Rental SA), the North
Adelaide Heritage managers visited Wilpena Resort in the Flinders
Ranges.

Year Of The Outback was among topics discussed over dinner with Kieth
and Lynette Rasheed. While
at Wilpena Resort Colin & Suzie Caudell were taken on a personalized
tour by Kieth Rasheed.

Rolls
Royce on Kangaroo Island
During
December Rodney & Regina Twiss along with their son William
travelled extensively into the tourist regions of Kangaroo Island.
The ferry crossing with Sealink was pleasant, and major roads are
now sealed on KI. Remaining dirt roads are generally well maintained.
These
trips form part of The North Adelaide Heritage Groups ongoing research
into South Australian Tourist destinations.
Maxwell Millowick, IT Consultant and photographer, also accompanied
the group.
Rodney Twiss is now writing "Rodney's Trip Tips" for the
website based on his experiences.

Sunday Lunch at the National Wine Centre
Rodney joined Regina and her glamorous collegues from the Lord Mayor
Charitable Committee at the fabulous new National Wine Centre last
Sunday for a day of fellowship, good food and wine to raise funds
for our cities small charities.
We would encourage all of our guests to indulge and visit the National
Wine Centre and lunch at the innovative De Castella's Restaurant,
where the menu is focused on the wine with food as an accompaniment.
